Tucked
away on a heavily wooded three acre lot with a beautiful catfish pond, our Pensacola
location serves as our corporate headquarters. This location opened in June,
1999, close to the intersection of Nine Mile Road and University Blvd.
(behind Sonic) in north Pensacola.
This location offers a
truly interactive dining experience that's fun for the
whole family! With ducks,
peacocks and fish to feed in the pond, you can let the kids run off some of
their boundless energy while you enjoy some wonderfully relaxing moments at
your table, from where you will probably still be able to keep an eye on
the kids! And there's an eight foot tall rocking chair on the porch that
makes you feel skinny when you sit in it! It also is big enough for the
whole family to get in, which makes a great family photo.
All of this on top
of absolutely delicious specialties where we don't pour ANYTHING out of a
can and warm it up, or serve you ANYTHING that has been pre-breaded and
frozen. Nope, everything we serve has been cooked from scratch, to order!
Our Mississippi prime,
farm raised catfish fillets costs us more than foreign sources of catfish
but you can rest assured that you are getting only the best USDA inspected
catfish fillets known to man!
Our boneless, skinless chicken breasts are marinated in our secret spices to
give them a special juiciness, tenderness and taste you just can't find
any place else. Our shrimp are 21-25 jumbo count and we peel them ourselves
to be sure you're getting a product that hasn't become dehydrated before it
gets to us. Our steaks are U.S.D.A. choice grade and are hand-cut to give
you flavor and tenderness you just can't beat. People are constantly telling
us that our 18 ounce rib-eye is THE best rib-eye in town, period!
We use only
100% peanut oil in our fryers which definitely cost more, but provides the
best taste by far and
has NO cholesterol.
We mix up
our own jalapeņo cornbread mix and jalapeņo hushpuppy mix, fresh from
scratch every day. Our mustard greens simmer for hours before the "pot
liquor" in them is ready for you. We pickle our pickled onions at our
restaurant for at least a month before they're sweet and mild enough for
you. Our salads are tossed fresh daily and we use only the best spring mix
and green leaf lettuce to provide you with the highest quality salads you
can get.
We limit our servers to
three table sections to be sure they have no excuse not to give you anything
but the best service
you've ever had at any price!
We offer our private dining
rooms free of charge for parties of 20 - 60.
These are only a few of the
